Reproduction of the original tail lamp lenses designed for 1969 Charger models with the argent silver accent stripe painted horizontally across the center of the lens. Each reproduction lens is injection molded and manufactured in correct acrylic materials for an authentic fit and appearance. Features all original SAE and OEM markings. Sold as a set that includes the LH and RH lens with gaskets.
This lens set is the 1969 style lens withOUT the horizontal rectangular reflector in the center portion of the lens. After Jan 1, 1970, new DOT regulations required a reflective lens on the rear of the vehicle. Use Part # MB1857 for the later style reflective lense for vehicle built after Jan 1, 1970.
Note: These lenses feature the painted horizontal silver accent stripe that is typically found on 1969 all models. There is a chance they may also be found on early 1970 base models without the aluminum rear tail panel trim. 1970 R/T models, 500 models or other model equipped with the aluminum rear tail panel would not have used the lens with the accent paint. We offer MB1881 for 1970 models built prior to Jan 1, 1970 (without reflector) and MB1857 for later models built Jan 1, 1970 and later (with reflector).
